In view of the disadvantage of current data acquisition method for container, this paper suggests the method of using RFID technology to realize the data acquisition of container, and according to this fulfill the following work.1. studies the related technology of RFID, summarize, summarizes the application character of RFID technology applied to container, determines the RFID system used for container should be the passive RFID system at ultra high frequency (UHF).2. analyzes the function demands of hardware and software of the reader, designs the reader's hardware based on LPC2364 and WJM3000, and institutes the system's communication protocol, designs the software on the foundation ofμC/OS-II operating system, and finally trims the operating system.3. analyzes the function demand of the upper computer's communication program, designes the software of the program using the C# language on the development platform of Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005, completes the program work of common function.The reader designed in this paper can communicate with the upper computer communication program through serial interface or Ethernet interface, get command and according to the command packet, access the passive tag which presents in the electromagnetic field, get the response from the tag and return to the upper computer.The test indicates that the upper computer communication program successfully realizes the communication to the reader through serial interface or Ethernet interface, and the reader obtains the ability to access tag at a long distance. This paper analyzes the usage of RFID technology for container at last. The reader at UHF designed here conforms to the application demand of container, and provides good reference to design the same product.
