Equipped with complex electrical circuits, precise mechanical system and optical system, the copier is of high intelligence. Due to its high output, fine image quality, high reliability, upgradable design system and multifunction (such as copy, fax and network print), the digital copier outstands itself and becomes a great helper in office automation.This paper mainly analysis the I/O controlled variable of the digital copier, design the I/O control board based on ARM, and do some experiments on it.Firstly, do some rearch on the control object, find out the I/O control signal, study the work principle about the paper system of the copier and also know the work principle of the Fusing Unit, make clear the aim of this paper. On the hardware basis, make a detailed introduction to the research process. First, expound the I/O interface board manufacture and the time sequence test. Then elaborate on time sequence simulation based on C8051F320 debug board. Finally describe the design and making of I/O main control board based on ARM LPC2292 and put up the experiment platform. On the software basis, take a modular approach to show the software design procedure of the embedded system with C language. For example, describe the startup code of the system, the design of the A/D modular and PWM modular(using the Fuzzy Auto-regulating PID control theory to modulate the duty cycle of the PWM, regulate the temperature correctly) and so on. In the end, debug the whole system.
