Study Of The Field Theory Perspective Under The French "le Monde"

Le Monde was established in 1944 came through the frequent change of political situation, violent competition during different parties and extensive development of capital market. The numerous elements and different power in the political field and economical field, in addition to the special cultural phenomena and habitus, all of these provide a vide stage for the media study which use the field theory as theory instrument. The field theory focus on firstly on the dynamic course of different elements in the different fields including the changes of media field and how it effects the other important social fields.According to the development of contemporary society in France and the self-development of Le Monde, the author divides the years between the foundation in 1944 and now into four stages, on which the main structure of the thesis is based, and the media producing process of Le Monde is sketched under the macro social background of each stage. Focus on the different manners and peculiarities while the media production field is effected by political field, economical field, habitus and capital.Plentiful datum will be cited and cleared out, while moderate judgment and evaluation will be made. Besides, method of case study will be used to deepen theme through analysis of specific cases. Across the text analysis of each history period ,want to explore the different fashion of field theory.This thesis will try to achieve two goals as follows. Firstly, comprehensively and intact outline the Le Monde's media production in different history period, make clear the manner and characteristic during the elements of political field, economical field, habitus and capital. Secondly, across the field study of the French Le Monde, provide reference and for the field study of Chinese media.Because the paper concerns so much history person and events, and it concludes many contents about French ideology. And the field theory is a open and moving course, so it is sure that the study has many faults and it needs to improve later.
