Along with the growing complexity of enterprise business processes, classic OAsystem is difficult to meet the complex business processes, and thus workflow systemand BPM system are applied to improve the execution efficiency of complex businessprocess.The workflow technology is still in the stage of development, and many workflowengines in use are still under trial. Most workflow system is on the focus of help user tocomplete task according to the special task process definition, and ignore the historyoperation and trace of the task, this defect let it’s difficult to implement some specialtasks such as "call back","jointly sign" and "nested sub processes”, etc. And traditionalworkflow system is based on the process definition, which is the fundament of thebusiness logic, so when the actual business process changes, it’s difficult to adjust theOA systems.In view of the problems above, this paper presents a workflow engine model basedon task process, and put forward a layered logic model using modern software designmethod.The primary work in this paper includes:(1) Presents a workflow engine based on task process control.(2) Extends the classic RBAC model, supports complex user relationships.(3) From the view of system development, analysis the core of workflow engine, build aloosely coupled, lightweight and efficient workflow system with SSH framework.The thesis presents some valuable trial for building a lightweight embeddedworkflow engine, the tasks management solution can be applied to many BPM systems.The user authorization modular also has some reference value in complex userrelationships. The solutions mentioned are applied in the HPU’s OA system, andachieved an effectively practice.
