Because of economic globalization, increasingly fierce competition for market, the enterprises want to win in the fierce market competition. Informatization technology has been an essential means of a manufacturing's surviving and growing. Informatization construction break the information isolation between all the departments and optimize the business process. Therefore the information and the materials can flow smoothly and information commons among different departments such as the sales, the schedule, the production, and the raw material purchasing plan etc. cost of operating the whole production can be lowered down. Consequently it will be possible for the enterprises to raise the competitive.According to detailed survey of production ,management and development of Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprise, specific situations were involved such as these enterprises got a lower level of informationization, and most data in the manufacturing process were recorded by manual mode, what's more, a lot of data that should be collected were lost because of the laggard hardware. This kind of management mode can hardly guarantee data consistency, integrity and accuracy. Production information ac ?isition system established by most companies liberated recorders from heavy work, and focus on the fact how to fast the accurate acquisition of data. But effective integration of different data were generally Ignored. Adapting the actual management performance of some enterprise, and on the basis of the application status and development of management informationization system for manufacturing industry, the Production Information Acquisition and Analysis System were designed and developed for the very companies. The system controlled the enterprise basic data, and strengthened monitoring and management of whole production process such as inventory management, process making, Shop Scheduling and quality control.According to the ideas of software engineering, this thesis has used the thought of object-oriented and MES(Manufacture Execution System)technology. The system has been researched and developed by using Rapid Prototyping, which divides the whole development process into five stages, including system planning, analysis, design, implementation, operation and maintenance.After the system has been implemented in the enterprise successfully, it makes basictinformation of the enterprise be integrated better, reduces related personnel workload on statistical report greatly, standardizes production process and optimizes inventory management and shop scheduling, so it achieves the goal of lower production costs, improving enterprise economic benefits and providing the basis for enterprise decision. The system also sets aside more interfaces, so it has some features such as extend easily and update conveniently, which accords with actual situation of the initial information construction in small and medium-sized discrete manufacturers.
