Being an important way to study product's reliability, the environment test and the following failure analysis work has been developed a significant method to forecast application environment is how to influence products'performance and function. The contents of this paper mainly describe the environment test and failure analysis to two kinds of flexural electronic products: PNLCD (Polymer Network Liquid Crystal Display) and FPCB (flexible printed circuit boards). Through these researches, we can find their defects and know their environmental adaptability.In the research, our main work focused on temperature-humidity environment tests (dry heat test and steady state damp heat test) and following failure analysis to PNLCD. Firstly, dry heat test and steady state damp heat test methods were framed according to interrelated criteria. Through these tests, we gained many failure phenomenons and tested some electro-optical parameters of PNLCD. In analysis work, we firstly analyzed all failure phenomenons (superabundance active parts, bubbles and so on) and knew their failure principle. In performance analysis to samples, we detailed analysis of some electro-optical parameters (threshold voltage, consumption current, transmittance, contrast and gradient). Through these work, we knew the impact of performance that tests to PNLCD.In research to FPCB, We main carried some mechanical tests. Mechanical tests are made up of flexural tests, tensile test and flexural fatigue and ductility test. Through flexural test and tensile test, we gained anti-flexural and anti-tensile performance and calculated some significant mechanical parameters. Flexural fatigue and ductility test is our key-point work to research FPCB. According to criteria, we detailed made its test method. In test analysis work, we analyzed the rate of crack growth and mastered anti-flexural fatigue performance of FPCB.All test methods were made according interrelated criteria which guaranteed the scientific of test process and the effective of test data and test phenomenons. The whole research work (test and analyis) in detail and depth .We fully understood the influence of environment test to PNLCD and FPCB. The research results will make an important role in improving performance to PNLCD and FPCB.
