Nowadays, with the popularization of computers and growth of technology, the meteorological information gets the rapid development. New Doppler weather radar, satellite remote sensing monitoring, FY2 satellite cloud picture, automatic weather stations, regional automatic meteorological station and other new series of monitoring tools are used in the applications of meteorology. Various weather products, numerical weather prediction products, ensemble forecasting, guidance forecasting, and data types get more complex. Thus, higher requirements are put forward for public services of the meteorological information.Current means of meteorological information data processing are increasing. The approaches to get the data and the amount of the data are more than the foretime. How to utilize the data more effectively becomes the problem being concerned about. Therefore, it is necessary to research and develop meteorological information sharing platform, process and display graphically a large number of meteorological data observed and predicted numerically, make the workers to weather forecasts and more people to understand the evolvement of weather knowledge intuitively and deeply, and supply the convenient applications.In this thesis, the design theory of information sharing platform and the main technique are introduced, design features and methods of meteorological information sharing platform at home and abroad are analyzed and researched. According to Grads, Surfer, C++, PHP+ MySQL + Apache, PHP and other technical, a suitable operational meteorological department used a total of Yulin Weather Information Service entitlements platform is developed for the meteorological information data, and Doppler radar, FY2 satellite image, regional automatic real-time data points, a contour line, site mapping, real-time graphical display and so on.
