Researching on mechanical dynamics has become research hotspots of domestic and foreign, which plays an important role in improving the reliability and dynamic response trait of the mechanical system. Studying on elevated platform, using virtual prototyping technology, the further study of the mechanical dynamics trait for it. Based on the perfect 3-dimensional computer graphic technology, graphic user interface technology, information technology, integration technology multi-media technology, and parallel technology and so on, the VPT dose well in optimizing design, testing property, and simulating the manufacture or using state of the products. It is very important than the application of virtual prototyping technology not only improves simulation technique's precision, but also shortens the design-cycle. The main contents are as follows: 1.Auther sums up the present research situation of mechanical dynamics at home and abroad and proves the necessity and significance of applying it.2. Studying on Modeling and solving process for multi-rigid-body system. The 3D model is built by Pro/E, and simply it. Using common document exchange format-Parasolid which is supported by Pro/E and ADAMS to switch elevated platform to ADAMS, and finally construct virtual prototyping model. It analyses the kinematics and dynamics of elevated platform to get the displacement, velocity and acceleration, vibration analysis of the screw, bolt strength verification and so on. Which provide theory basis and experimental data for the design and development of actual sample model in the future.
