Design And Implementation, Based On The Soa Community Health Records Information Exchange Middleware

With the further reform and opening up for China,its economic development improves people's living standard.More and more people raise the requirements for their health and wish to get low-cost medical service.After valuing the service offered by the community health center,the state gives priority to develop community health center as the key to promote the healthcare reform.Information technology is regarded as an important initiative to make healthcare reform successful and make healthcare information systems integration and data sharing possible.EHR(Electronic health record) management as one of the basis duties for community health center has been carried out for a long period of time.But it was treated as traditional government work and finished by force.Now with the needs of community health center,EHR plays an important role in the modern medical diagnosis,general practitioner follows the data in EHR to track and modify the patient's medication and treatment.China will gradually establish a unified nationwide standard EHR from 2009.In order to balance the medical resources in region's allocation,enhance the residents' satisfaction for the community health center and solve the "information isolated island" for data sharing of EHR,it needs to achieve region-wide EHR standardization and data sharing.As one of the solution to deal with this problem,we can integrate the community-based population information systems and community health center management information systems.Their functions are reused.It's the best and most effective way to construct a regional EHR information exchange platform through this method.This article introduces SOA(Service-oriented Architecture) software development and management methods.It'll also propose a solution for regional EHR information exchange platform based on SOA integration framework.And design and Implementation of middleware which is the most pivotal part of this framework is the research object of this article.First this article will introduce some important standards,critical methodology and technologies such as EHR standard,SOA,ESB,Web Service etc.According to these theories,a design of the conceptual technical framework about regional EHR information exchange platform based on SOA will be found afterwards.Then the middleware technical framework also arises.The article follows an instance to analysis middleware functions.The advantages of the middleware in the fields of exchange platform will be shown.Finally,this article will end up with advantages and disadvantages of this middleware and expect the future.I hope the results of this paper can give some good advices for construction of the regional EHR information exchange platform,as well as the design and Implementation of middleware for healthcare information systems integration.
