Location Service Platform Middleware Research And Design

Location Based Service (LBS ) is considered an important Telecommunications Business after messaging services in recent years, which refers mobile computing, positioning technology, geographic information technology and personal privacy management and other interrelated fields, and popular in mobile computing fields.LBS system is a large distributed system, dealing with how to mask positioning technology, in conjunction with the existing geographic information system, how to improve the level, extensibility and the flexibility of the system, how to make the connecting and developing of SP services conveniently and rapidly. With the conception of middleware, LBS middleware system has been studied in detail to deal with these problems. This paper includes: 1. Middleware-based LBS system designAfter the studying of LBS Platform of the current mainstream, namely the three-tier structure: Operational supported platform, Geographic information service platform and related applications LBS operators. According to diversity of present system, the thesis gives the design of LBS middleware system framework based on the design principles of LBS middleware platform. It contains LBS Management Middleware and GIS Middleware.2. Research and Design of LBS Management MiddlewareLBS Management Middleware is designed to reduce workload of the SP. It's between operators and service providers, and enables SP to develop their own services more simply without too much care other problems as cost, privacy, security, and other issues.3. Research and Design of GIS MiddlewareGIS middleware is an intermediate entity between mobile positioning platform, SP and GIS. It's a piece of reusable software that with provision of pre-defined user interface and packaging of functions specific to the GIS service makes a seamless coordination in SP own application process with middleware without starting from the basic functions.
