Corba-based Integrated Network Management South To The Adapter

Network Management is one of the vital technology of"tomorrow network architecture", it is one of three supporting technologies of network development with high-speed routing and virtual network. As a very important factor of network efficient operation, network management is a important research topic of current information network.With the development of telecom business and intelligent network, many new businesses only can provide with the collaborative of the various professional network management system. With telecommunication network,computer network and television network gradually being integrated, the interoperability of inter-network is required more and more strongly. Even inside the same kind of network, because of network's scale continually expanding,network function constantly strengthened and the complexity of network constantly increasing, network's heterogeneity also became more and more serious. At the same time, in different management domain, there are lots of single function network management system, these management system can't achieve unity even they are same kind of management system of different manufacturers'device. In addition, in the centralizing structure, the network management system can't change with the scale and complexity, which made the system bigger and bigger. All management logic is computing in one work station that will occupy too many bandwidth, depress performance and made the workstation become the weakest part, if the workstation overrun or dead, agent can't come back because it must wait manager's command. This structure has become the choke Point of the management system.As a result, distributing management mode becoming the mainstream mode of network management. Through adopting the distributing network management mode, we could handtailor the network management system with scale and complexity, solve the isomerous raised by different network platform, disperse the management logic into distribute network, it solves the choke point of the centralizing management system.According to the development of the new technology of network management, this thesis analyzed the current status of current network management, also it explained the concept and function of integrated network management system. and it briefly explain a integrated network management system model based on plug-in. then, we introduced Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), explain the application of CORBA in distributing network management system. At the same time, we detailedly described the frame of south adapter of network management system and the design of south adapter's sub-module, also we explain the function of south adapter in integrated network management system. Because of our system is based on plug-in technology, it is a loosely coupled relationship between south adapter and network management system, so our system has good scalability. In the end of this thesis, we described the test method of our south adapter sub system.Currently, our south adapter sub system has passed integrated testing and system testing, also passed the testing of Chongqing Mobile. It has successful dive into commercially application .
