Under the influence of globalization,different commercial activities becoming more and more closely. In the field of modern logistics, customers not only require a high speed of the carriage of goods but also high quality of service. Therefore, commercial users increase the requirements of software systems. A high available System must reach two goals: One is that system needs to deal with events more quickly to improve the operational efficiency to meet the needs of users in response speed. Another is that system have a ability to analysis complex relationship of large-scale events to help users implement complex business processing.RFID (radio frequency identification) item distribute system is an important component of the modern logistics. It also faces the same challenge. The use of RFID technology allow more rapidly data-input and increase the amount of information greatly. Users put forward more complex business requirements to deal with a large amount of information. Software systems are facing the strong pressure of both large-scale event-imput and rapid response. Systems based on traditional technologies are not so good at complex and large-scale real-time data processing. Moreover, there are some inevitable problems related to the system, such as tightly couple, low-expansion and less-flexible, and so on.Complex event processing is a specialized technology for processing the relationship between events (messages). It has a strong capacity of real-time processing with complex relationship between large-scale events. It contains a complex event processing engine and special modeling tools for event relationship. Developers can quickly set up relationship model for complex events, and then implement it. Complex event processing engine can receive, store and process large-scale data independently, and integrate into the existing systems in the form of flexible components. Software syste therefore can easily achieve complex relationship processing with complex event processing technology, while the system with low coupling, high-expansion and the use of flexible features.Based on the analysis of complex event processing technology and current related systems, the article design and implement a RFID item distribute system with Esper– a complex event processing platform. Compare with the traditional system from test result, the complex event processing technology showed a higher performance. According to the test results and real requirements, the author made an improvement of this system and proposed a distributed complex event processing system.
