The development of E-Magazine has experienced three main periods: Digital magazine period,Website issuing period,Multimedia interactive issuing period.And the third period is the research target of this thesis.The most difference between the third period magazine and the two former magazines is the multimedia format,the powerful interactive communion and P2P technology of download.Now there are more and more internet users paying close attention to the multimedia interactive magazines.In a short two years,there set up about twenty issuing platforms and two thousands of content supplement companies at least.This young industry gets more than a hundred million dollars venture investment last year.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introducing the general situation of E-magazine,including the definition,development history,characteristic and classification.The second part is investigating the development actuality,including content supplement companies,issuing platforms,readers,content and administrate mode. The third part is summarizing the current problems.The fourth part is forecasting the development tendency.The fifth part is considering how to walk out the dilemma situation of this industry in the future.In the paper,the author thinks that multimedia format,convenient delivery,powerful interactive are the core competitive points in the e-magazine industry,but the disadvantages are low quality content,unconsciousness of copyright,incompatible of software and unclear profit mode.Now the e-magazine industry is faced with both good opportunity and high risk.
