As we all know, the integrated circuit cards (IC cards) have been used in many fields as one kind of consumer electronic products which contains the data storage and processing function. The Development Trend of IC cards is mainly focuses on several way.Firstly, the contactless card become more powerful, it will gradually replace conventional contact card in many application fields.Secondly, the future of IC card will combines contactless interface, bulk storage memory, CPU framework and Security Algorithm Hardware Unit. The developing of IC card will promote Its High-End application in financial and personal identification fields. Such as Electronic passport, the new generation id card and bank card.This paper introduces a design of a CPU card based on the architecture of 8051 with the contactless interface. A new efficiency architecture is given to shorten the develop cycle by integrating verified IP. This paper emphatically analyzes several implementation method of security algorithm hardware unit, such as DES/Triple DES, High and Low Frequency Detectors, protection of against DPA. And describe some low power design ways both in architecture and clock process.Finally, a simple introduction of verification and testing methods is given.The chip is designed and fabricated in the SMIC 0. 35um double-ply and three-metal EEPROM CMOS process.
