Glass Fiber Production Line Control System

China is one of the main fiber glass producing countries in the world, however, the technology of producing still have room to be improved.This paper is focused on the control method of the forehearth area and the winders area in fiber glass producing, including fiber glass producing method research, control method research, control system structure research, and control system improvement proposal research.First, this paper briefly introduces the producing method of Electronic Grade Fiber Glass (E-Glass), and analyzes the key technology of bushing producing which is the key component of forehearth area, and introduces the new feathers of winders which are in the winders area. Second, based on bushing and winders, this paper analyzes the control procedure and method, and researches the status flow chart in detail of each control object in the bushing and winders, which is the basic of logic control structure. Third, this paper analyzes control system structure, especially the equipment and structure of bushing temperature control, and speed, position, and load control of winders. At last, based on the problems existed in the producing procedure, this paper gives out proposals focusing on control system stability, and after implementing, a good result comes out.On the bases of theoretical research, this paper proposes improvement methods and gets good result. The practical results show that the control system works steadily and reliably, and the new control method increases productivity and reduces energy consuming and cost.
