COG product has the advantages of simple assembly process, easy miniaturization, and being especially suitable for high density, high-capacity LCD display module, etc. With the continuous development of the information and digital communication technology widespread application, especially with more and more portable applications (mobile phones, PDA, MP3, watches, information phone, digital phones, handheld instruments, and computer display), COG technology has been unprecedented development in recent years, and its applications will be more extensive. At present, COG high-precision packaging equipment mainly rely on imports in the domestic, so independent research and development of advanced packaging equipment is an urgent need without delay. This topic is part of the National 863 Program"Key technology and equipment for the MEMS devices flip-elastic bump interconnection"sub-topics; this thesis is based on COG equipment which is independently developed by the laboratory.The main work of this thesis includes the overall program design, the PLC control system design, the PC control system design, and specific implementation of the program.1)According to working principle of the COG equipment, Combined with the design structure of the COG equipment in the laboratory,the overall process flow of production was designed, and the detailed design was completed in accordance with its process of each module.2) In accordance with the COG equipment's hardware selection of motion control system and the performance specifications of Mitsubishi PLC software and the positioning module, the PLC control system was designed.3) By using the C# language, PC control system software was developed and a friendly human-computer interface was designed.4) According to the functional requirements of production, combined with each control system of the COG equipment, each functional module (monitor, alarm, parameter update, production control, etc.) was designed.5) By the aanalysis of the production process timing, the production process was optimized and the production efficiency was improved.
