A Type Of Outdoor Broadband Access Equipment Reliability Analysis And Design

CPE provides family users with more convenient and flexible internet access. The cruel outdoor working environment requires this electronics equipment to be more reliable compared to indoor equipment.Based upon one type of CPE, this paper starts from the reliability theory, systematically introduces the reliability design technology for CPE, strengthens the integration of System FLOW Design method with reliability design, and incorporates reliability design into product development procedure, to achieve expected high product reliability with low lost.The paper mainly introduces the project background, major technical indicators, reliability work development and its main working method of a certain type of CPE. It describes systematic flow design method, analyzes how to carry out reliability work based upon design requirements and equipment overall design scheme, and provides specific reliability design method and application examples, including reliability prediction, thermal design, EMC design, circuit reliability design, Environment protection design, etc.According to the theoretical analysis and test, early involvement of reliability design will reduce the re-design risk caused by product invalidation.
