For civil or military equipment, the quality and reliability are eternal centers. With the development of economy and national defence, the reliability has been a great project to research.It can be forecasted that new theories, new techniques and overseas advanced experiences must be studied in order to meet the higher requirement of products'quality and reliability.Reliability engineering is the science that using reliability design, failure prediction, control, experiment and analysis to realize the reliability index.Products'reliability is an important guide line of product quality. Reliability design is to design the product future reliability.To improve reliability, we must design to meet products'inherent reliability demand,and the reliability design is to establish the base for products'inherent reliability.The theories of HART transmitter smart card's every function blocks are introduced and every function indexs are analysed in this paper.The reliability indexs are confirmed based on many factors,and the reliability logic diagram and the reliability mathematic model are also presented in this paper. Thereout, the research work for the reliability design of HART transmitter smart card is carried out,and all detailed work is as follows:1. Reliability prediction of HART transmitter smart card:After confirming the circuit, stress analysis and reliability prediction are processed based on the component handbooks,and the table of circuit reliability stress analysis and reliability index prediction is presented in this paper.2. Distributing the reliability index into circuit units: The reliability index of demand is distributed into circuit units and compared with the expected value.The table of reliability distribution data is got in this paper.3. From the point of view of the reliability design technology, the simplification circuit design, the decrease design, the heat design and the electromagnetic compatibility design are carried out based on the circuit of HART transmitter smart card.Otherwise the reliability control is processed through design and manufacture course, namely through selecting components, taking cognizance of components, and restricting components, then failure mode analysis of circuit is carried out in order to get the table of malfunction analysis and FMEA analysis of HART transmitter smart card.
