With the computer systems using in the fields like aviation, aerospace, military, finance, the requirements of high dependability for computer systems are necessary.The rapid development of computer networks has greatly impact on people's daily life, which also rise the requirement of reliability of computer systems. The fault injection, as a means to speed up the system failure, can be used to test and evaluate the reliability of the system. The traditional reliability evaluation rarely takes the network environment into account, whereas there are few systems which isolate from computer networks in these days. Therefore, the computer system is facing a greater threat.In this paper, we design and implement a comprehensive reliability evaluation tool. We first introduce and analyze the robustness evaluation techniques, fault injection, dependability evaluation techniques and we implement the prototype of a comprehensive reliability evaluation tool.Using the system interface, we can configure the fault injector parameters. And then under the instruction of the control module, the tool starts to inject faults into the target system. When the injection is completed, the result will be collected and stored into the database which was located in the control system. Then the data will be analyzed and the result reports will be given.In this paper, we give an reliability evaluation system CRSS (Common Reliability Scoring System), which based on the CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System). We take the safety, the reliability and the robustness into a single scoring system. The scoring system can either be used to evaluate a single attribute or evaluate the integrated attributes.
