Third-party Logistics Platform Design And Development

Third Party Logistic, with dozens of years' improvement in the foreign countries, has been introduced and developed into domestic in last ten years. It is relatively laggard in domestic; one of the major aspects is the lack of mature logistic management system. Base on the deeply analysis to the logistic system, from user requirement's view, this article analyses the key business modules and functions in system, and designs an E-Business platform which has the practicability and expansibility base on that.The article describes and analyses the overall design of logistic management system, and the related key technology. Select the key modules in the system: Logistic Lifecycle Management module and Transportation Module for the detailed design and implementation. At last the article describes the system implementation process while makes a simple characteristic analysis for the whole system. Logistic Lifecycle Management could maximum the automation for the logistic process; detailed Customer Resource Management provides the maximum customizable function to user. The main research results of this text have four respects:(1) Define the main requirement for the 3PL system. Define what need to do for this system and the coverage of this system. Set up the sub-module of the system to make the project run smoothly.(2) Introduce the background of logistic. Analyze the development of logistics in China. Through the analysis, emphasize the importance of building an E-Business system for logistic company.(3)Design the architecture for the E-Business platform. In System integration aspect using message mechanism to ensure the accuracy of the message transportation while reduce the coupling among the systems.(4)Realize the 3PL system. Show the result of deployment of this system. List the difficulty and the feedback from customer during the deployment. Make a summery about the advantage and what need to be improved for the platform.
