With the rapid improvement of telecommunication wideband, it is likely to transmit a great deal of data and multimedia communication has been the mainstream. Therefore, the solution to audio and video synchronization as a multimedia communication.video-on-demand, conferencing systems, has already become more and more important.The method of embedded audio and video synchromization based on a kind of avs of the applicaton to a digital codec technology is the study that audio data will be embedded AVS video coding system and is able to transmit the process of broadcost audio and video "always synchronization" . Audio embeded method, the corresponding study of the extraction method, design of the overall system synchronized scheme.The study treated video standards AVS as a platform according to the syntax and semantics of video and deeply analyzed the technology and process of the encoder and decoider.The experiment treated AVS rm52cr model as a platform and designed the synchronization scheme that audio enbeded video. The experiment used different encoder configuration file, applied to different test sequence, analyzed the enbeded cost concerring the audio enbeded video and the influence or video quality and compared with the tranditional MPEG-2 after the use of synchronization algorithm peroformance.Through the result of the experiment we can see that the system cost is less than 1% that is much less than 3% of the cost that used in the MPEG-2 after the use of AVS embedded synchronization algorithm, but also the influence of video is small and achieved expected results.
