Integrated Modeling Of Business Flow And Knowledge Flow

Establishing a reasonable management pattern is very essential in the business process management life cycle, but the sole modeling method can not meet the full demand of the enterprise, the kind of integration model which combines business process and knowledge flow is needed at this time. The integrated process modeling with the tow flows becomes a rising trend. On the basis of the existing loosely combination of the two flows study, a new modeling method using RAD (Role Activity Diagram), which combines the process flow and knowledge flow more closely is further discussed.The integration of business process and knowledge flow modeling has attracted many scholars' attention. In this paper, a RAD modeling method is proposed to overcome the limitation of simple mapping from business processes to knowledge flow, which exists between roles, which combines business processes and knowledge flow by dividing the knowledge relations among process actors into sequence, distribution, combination and self-reflection. Finally, the integrated modeling method is demonstrated by an example of software developing process.
