With the advancement of computer technology, simulator techniques have been applied successfully in the development of many important products. The 3D virtual simulation transforms geographical entity and phenomenon in actual life into 3D space in certain way,and it expresses image using point, line, surface, note and so on.It is of vital significance to cut down the production cost,to shorten the innovation period,to improve the production quality and reduce the loss as well. This thesis is based on the research of scene of 3D virtual system, adopts object oriented technique, employs OPENGL function to realize display and optimization of the picture.3D virtual simulation system which is based on photography information has offered a lot of view to observe the picture. In this paper,I mainly stress on two terrain simulation algorithms and two liquid simulation algorithms. The terrain simulation algorithms, one is based on Quartree organization.Using this algorithms and combine with the mixing texture mapping technique, shadow rendering technique,I realize the simuliation about natural terrain and generate the large realistic 3D terrain scenes.Lastly, the 3D crusie systems are built after that the collsion dectection of user movements is realized in these scenes. Some experiments are tested on this system to judge the performance and capability of them. The results of these experiments indicate that these simulation schemes are not only having excellent simulation about terrain and physiognomy, but also can realize the dynamic detection with users durning cruise in the scenes. This system possess preferable characteristics which should be included in the ideal VR system, they are imersive, interactive and autonomy.
