Virtual reality is the simulation of a real or imagined environment produced by computer that can be experienced visually in the three dimensions of width, height and depth and that may additionally provide an interactive experience visually in full real-time motion with sound and tactile feedback. The modeling of virtual reality could provide users with simulated environment similar to the real world. The difficulty of interior virtual reality modeling lies in the contradiction between the vividness of modeling and the simultaneity of drawing.Owing to the limitation of computer, the more complicated the modeling is, the more difficulty the drawing may confront, which ends in the dissatisfaction of users. The article emphasizes the sense of reality of drawing by using the techniques of Bump Mapping, Environment Mapping, Light Mapping, Multitexture Mapping to achieve the effect of diffuse reflection, mirror reflection and refraction. Compared with Ray Tracing and Radiosity, it is much easier while truly reflecting the light effectShadow effect also plays a vital role in Reality Graphics in terms of its demonstration of relative position between objects. The system applies the Shadow Volume for the use of hardware programming.Collision detection also remains an important issue. When receiving users, input, the system would check up and see whether the new view provided by users, input would have conflict with the objects of the simulated environment or get inside the object. The system applies the BSP tree to carry on dynamic collision check-up.
