Oracle Data Query Optimization Method

Currently as Oracle database has been widely applied in all industries,it has become a mainstream product in domestic high-end database market and backbone for information-based system in enterprises.Oracle database has become the first choice in many information-based projects.As the popularization of Internet,more information will be computerized and digitalized,more Oracle Database will be utilized to store such information.Data query speed is often used as an important index to judge the quality of a system.Software suppliers and users also invest much to upgrade their software and hardware platform in order to improve the speed of data query.The effect,however,is not quite satisfactory.Based on Oracle 9i database,this paper firstly analyzes the process of data query statements.Then based on the system structure and characteristics of Oracle database, it analyzes several Oracle examples and how Oracle physical files affect database performance and data query speed in detail from the aspect of optimizing the environment of data query statements.It also gives detailed method for the size setting in each part of SGA,the size setting and distribution of tablespace and physical files.The paper also puts up some methods on writing data query statement to enhance the low performance SQL Lastly,according to the methods mentioned in the paper,a view of an Electronic Product Service System which based on Oracle 9i is optimized.In this case,resource is reasonably configured without upgrading the hardware and software and the query speed is enhanced largely.The findings indicate as follows:For Oracle database whose structure is more complicate but the performance height is tunable,we can optimize from the operation environment and writing of data query statement.Without increasing hardware and software cost,the result is significant and is practicable to certain degree.
