Query Optimization Research And Implementation In Telecom Data Warehouse Based On Oracle

Data Warehouse is widely used by various companies and sectors around the world to deal with their massive data, containing Query and Online Transaction and Data Mining. How to short the response time of users and query optimization is always the most important problem the Data Warehouse facing.This paper analyzed the Special Communication Data Warehouse Platform based on Oracle from Data Warehouse development and Granularity of data designing and query theme. On this basis, the paper gave the solutions against the query response time problem of users from Granularity of data designing and storage of data and query sentence optimization and the overall platform optimize. By using active and passive management for Oracle and optimize tools like SQL TRACE EXPLAIN PLAN and ORACLE OPTIMIZER, the query response time is shortened and the efficiency is improved.Finally, the Special Communication Platform is optimized from hardware system Operating System and Oracle software, the platform capacity based on TPC-H testing confirmed that the query response time asked by users can be reached. Also the future of the Data Warehouse industry is introduced.
