Teaching Quality Analysis And Evaluation Of The Data Warehouse Model And Etl Design

Datawarehouse technology are the most active branches of the database studying, developing and application, also the key factors of DSS. Datawarehouse is a decisision supporting,subject-oriented, integrated, stable and time-dependent on data set; Using datawarehouse technology exploiting and analyzing application-system is the best way to assistant the decision-making person to establish scientific managed determination.Most of the previous teaching management systems are the On-LineTransaction Processing (OLTP) systems,which have no ability of supportting synthetic analysis and making decision ,and inadequate to utilization of hidden knowledge from vast history data set. Analysis of the data in teaching management is an important way to teaching evaluation. It is necessary to guarantee the quality of teaching and improve the stuff of students analyzing the data made in processes of tests and teaching and then supporting the teaching with the results. The system of the teaching quality analyzing and evaluating, based on datawarehouse technology plans to researching and establishing the all-purpose datawarehouse model in teaching quality-management and how to use OLAP and data mining technology make decisions and solve the problems in teaching quality-management. The purpose is to use scientific methods improving traditional managing methods, enhancing managing quality, bringing up person with integrated ability and adapting social requirement.This paper introduces the purport of exploiting the system of teaching quality analyzing and evaluating, based on datawarehouse technology, and analysing requirements of system. Then it introduces how to use datawarehouse technology to design datawarehouse models about the system of the teaching quality analyzing and evaluating. Finally it introduces ETL designing and realizing about the system of the teaching quality analyzing and evaluating. Exploiting the system of the teaching quality analyzing and evaluating based on datawarehouse technology can achieve the purpose of improving teaching management and teaching quality.
