Radar Speed Train Running In The Research And Application

With the fast developing of railway, the train is running faster, traditionary speed measurement methods have several shortages. Therefore, one centimeter wave band speed measurement by radar for the train is put forwarded in this paper, which is different with traditional measurement methods and can insure the train's safe running. The speed measurement radar works in the K band, gets the frequency excursion signal of the train relative to the earth with the theory of Doppler speed measurement, and then gets exact speed signal through processing fast by DSP.First, the theory of speed radar is researched in-depth in the paper, and we put forward technique difficulties and technique guide line and total design plan base on the analysis and synthesis of speed measurement status quo of home and overseas and advanced congener products.The analysis of Doppler signal is the theory emphasis in this paper. We research kinds of arithmetic deeply and systemically, from classical spectral evaluation to modem spectral evaluation, summed up their advantage and disadvantage, especially AR parameter model method. To check out the effect of AR parameter model arithmetic, we emulate with MATLAB. And in the end, burg arithmetic is adopted to evaluate the spectrum because of better spectrum resolving power and moderate difficulty.The hardware and software is designed in the paper. First, we design microwave module and compatible trump antenna by the detecting distance. TMS320C6713, which is TI high speed floating-point DSP, is central chip of digital signal processing in the system. We design peripheral circuit of DSP,A/D and CPLD of the peripheral circuit. After this, the software is finished and main and child program flow charts are given. At last, we make a systemic test, and analyze the experiment result, and put forward the method to mend error. The experiment proves that the speed measurement radar of train works well and achieves the design demand.
