Design And Implementation Of Ground-based Radar Signal Processor

Radar signal processor is an important part of the radar system.Radar signal processor is also the basic of radar signal processing algorithm.Based on the practical needs of project,this paper proposed a design and realization of a radar signal processor.The area of PCB is designed to be standard 3U.The hardware is designed for various needs with many types of communication interface interfaces and memory modules.Moreover,the radar signal processing algorithm is applied on the hardware.The main cotents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the essential principle of radar signal processing algorithm is delivered.The function that should be realized in the radar signal processor is discussed in this paper.Secondly,the paper discussed the method and application of high-speed serial interface.Based on the analysis,a design of “multi-core DSP + FPGA” structure radar signal processor is proposed and realized.Finally,an application of the radar signal processor is proposed.The application designed the methods of timing sequence,data transmission and digital down converter.Besides of RS422,a driver of serial rapidIO communication interface with simplified protocol stack is designed.
