Infrared technique is a hotspot of current night-vision technology. Relying on its advantages such as small volume and weight, high reliability and performance-cost ratio, uncooled infrared imaging system plays an increasingly important role in the fields of watching and searching targets. Basing on the successful uncooled infrared imaging system, this paper makes a great improvement and optimization on the old system, adding some new function to the new system at the same time.In the first chapter of this paper, we introduce the development and theory of the infrared imaging technology. We also introduce the technology of digital system design and FPGA design. Then we talk about the background and the work of this paper. The basic knowledge of infrared imaging technology, focal plane array, thermal balanced equation is discussed in the second chapter. The main study of this paper is how to miniaturize the old infrared imaging system, which is discussed in the third chapter. The details of the improvement are written in this chapter, including the SPI interface, the real-time signal processing and the ununiformity correction etc.The realization of electronic magnification function is intruduced in the forth chapter. In this chapter, we describe this theory of electronic magnification and list some pictures to show the result of this function. At the last chapter, we talk about some innovations in this paper and some work which is still needed to be improved.
