The system of automobile fittings' management is a typical information management system(MIS). It mainly includes the establishment and maintenance of the background database, and the development of the foreground application procedures. The background database must be consistent, integrity and safe while the application procedure of the foreground must be full fledged and easy to operate. This system adopts the SQL Server 2000 as its background database and the Studio.net 6 developed by MICROSOFT as its development tool. The application of these two software's, especially the convenient and plastic tools they provide to different customers, makes the manipulation of the data window intelligent. The first step to build up the system is to establish an application prototype in a short time. The second step is to improve and modify the original prototype by iteration until a feasible systems which can make customers satisfied are finally worked out. The software can process various business modes, such as buying, selling, stocking and stocktaking of automobile fittings. The system consists of information management, the basic information management, daily information management, the stock information management, and finance management, with its running environment supported by Windows 2000 above.
