This article which is in the comprehensive analysis existing network platform for investigative study's foundation, explores the support function for high school teachers and students when they carry out the investigative study activity. And with the examples of Problem Based Learning (PBL), it tries to construct an appropriate network platform for the high school teachers' and students' investigative study. The article elaborates the connotation of investigative study, including the primary meaning, the rationale and the general pattern. Since this platform should be able to support the PBL activity, the author combs the theory level of PBL in order to provide the theory basis for the platform construction. At the stage of designing the network management platform, the author has first discussed the PBL activities procedure design for the curriculum of "Television Manufacture Technology". Based on this, the author analyzes the manager, the supervising teacher, and learner's different demands to design the functional modules for network management platform.With the popularization of the open source software, Moodle is being known well by more and more teachers. Using Moodle, the author has carried out the viability assessment of the network platform for the investigative study, and with the Moodle's vivid and strong function, the author has carried out the network management platform of the investigative study which meets the design request.Finally, the article summarizes the achievements of the research, and also put forward the proposal of following research.
