The Public Opinion To Guide The Role Of People's Livelihood News Host

With its public credits and popularity, civic journalism provides the TV news a fresh approach , as well as a stage for the hosts. At the beginning of the Year 2002, the program "Nanjing: No Distance" and its host MengFei, became the most popular show of its time. Therefore, the people who study the news should not ignore the influence of the host role. This paper intends to analyze the civic journalism hosts and state the special requirements for their unique role , then from both positive and negative aspects , explains the effects of the host on the program. By in-depth analysis of the existing problems, this paper intends to achieve a rational and comprehensive review of civic journalism and the role of the hosts. This paper also introduces the "public opinion field" and "opinion leaders", thoughtfully analyzes these questions, and seeks to find a practical way for civic journalism hosts to improve the program and create a path for the future, eventually leading to the high success of the civic journalism hosts.
