In the processing of educational innovation about the style of teaching, Game studying which is characterized by the concept, learning from entertainment, is booming in modern educational area as one of the patterns for study. It plays more and more important role in school's instructional activities, especially in those infant schools, primary schools and middle schools. And simultaneously it has been regarded more in its great efficiency.Game software for study differs greatly from that for fun in possessing of perspicuous target of teaching. It applies computer system to the playing activities. The young learners are attracted by game itself, and simultaneously the game which is designed to accord with teaching plan, instructs the players to comprehend the knowledge and obtain skills in an unpainful way.This article introduced the concept of game software for study and what are interrelated with it. The basic properties, the categories and the elementary design procedures for game software are also analyzed in detail.As the blueprint of the whole work, game design is very important in the beginning. Considering the specialties, the teaching target and the content of primary school science curriculum, the article discussed how to improve or optimize the processes of study by adopting game software in the curriculum. It explained the relationship between education theories and the strategies of game software design in an academic way .
