With the progress of science and technology in recent years,smart devices such as computers and mobile phones are rapidly increasing the channels for people to obtain information.The advantages of smart devices,such as multi-channel interaction and intelligent assistance,are bringing new changes to the digitalization of physical science education for primary school students.In primary school science popularization education,the traditional science popularization thinking mode,these physics science popularization education products which only carry out one-way knowledge output are often too boring,lack of interest,and difficult to generate enough appeal to children.The concept of gamification focuses on the user’s pleasure and aims to give things the nature of games,which can effectively change the boring dilemma of children’s physics science education at the current stage.Therefore,with the help of the concept of gamification,the author constructs a gamification design strategy with user experience as the core,endods physics popular science education products with new ways of thinking,creation and design,deepens the existing children’s physics popular science education,and effectively meets the demands of primary school children’s popular science learning.The object of this study is primary school children from grade one to grade three.The focus of this research is to introduce the concept of gamification design into physics popular science education.First through the literature research for science popularization education gaming has carried on the definition,analyzes the principle and research value of popular science education and games,and expounds the key feature of the form,and physical science education as the starting point to explore the mechanics knowledge types and characteristics of gaming,and analyzes the mechanics knowledge forms of gaming.Secondly,based on the correlation analysis of CUBI user experience model and DMC gamification design system,user survey was conducted and effective influencing factors for children were extracted.The mapping relationship behind them was analyzed and the gamification design process of mechanics popular science education APP was constructed.Then,the gamification design strategy includes four dimensions:science popularization target layer,interactive flow layer,product function layer and content presentation layer.Finally,according to the design strategy,the design practice is carried out,and the APP "Kids Mechanics" is designed with the theme of popular science Mechanics,and tested in the actual teaching process.The results show that "Kids Mechanics" effectively improves children’s understanding of knowledge points.It verifies that gamification design strategy has practical effect on children’s learning mechanics knowledge.Through the research of this paper,in order to enhance children’s interest in physics and cultivate children’s scientific literacy.The author introduces the concept of gamification into children’s physics popular science education,which improves the current situation of monotonous and boring physics popular science education.It provides a scientific and effective reference for the richness of physical science education for children.
