With the increasing globalization of economy and internationalization and decentralization geographically of enterprises, it is a pressing task to establish VPN for company. MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switch) is a core technology of NGN, which integrates the connection-orientedness of ATM with the routing of IP. QoS(Quality of Service) is referred to as the capability of network of provide higher-priority service so as to ensure the priority for the data stream control will not hinder other controls. MPLS can serve as a basic technology to deal with the data transmission for VPN of company. Combining L2 switch and L3 IP in order to offer connection-oriented service without connection or by preset route so that data can be transmitted in a simple way, MPLS applies to dynamic tunnel technology, ensuring the service quality of data transmission.Directed at the growing demands for company VPN and taking into consideration the integration of voice, video and data services in it, this paper, studies the issues concerning MPLS as well as QoS. Based on Dianguang Group's requirements, it discusses the issues related to QoS in company VPN, gives a detailed introduction to the design and realization of MPLS-based company VPN and put forward a plan for the service quality control of the VPN. The data company VPN carries include not only text, but also multimedia such as voice , video and so on. which results in the variety of their demands for bandwidth, time delay and real time vary. Thus, in order to support the services of voice, video and data with various needs, network is required to be able to identify different communications and provide relevant services. On the basis of the support of telecom-related MPLS to QoS, the techniques for the service quality control encompassing transmission schedule and packet deletion are employed in the design in order to meet the demands of kinds of services by QoS in a limited bandwidth of line. The testing result and one-year-long operation of the company's VPN have shown that the strategies of QoS applied prove to be rational and feasible.
