MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) VPN is based on MPLS technology and construct virtual private network (VPN) on backbone network, to provide users with safe, reliable, high-quality business technology VPN. MPLS L2VPN (Layer 2 VPN) is one type of solutions of MPLS VPN, it enables operators to provide lay 2 vpns based on different data link layer Layer in a unified MPLS network. Martini, Kompella, VPLS are the three major types of MPLS L2VPN.Currently, most communications equipment manufacturers are able to support MPLS L2VPN. H3C is such a company whose main business is poroducing routers and switches, most of the routers and switches support MPLS L2VPN.The MPLS L2VPN technology, after years of researching and practicing, is becoming mature, and many RFCs and related drafts are published to standarlized it. However, the network test on the MPLS L2VPN information technology open less, in this context, the paper analyzes the various MPLS L2VPN solutions and make a reach on test method based on different network types of these solutions.This thesis introduces the MPLS module and international standards on the MPLS L2VPN, then make a research on networking and testing of several major MPLS L2VPN solutions, including Martini L2VPN, Kompella L2VPN and VPLS L2VPN, finally analyze and summarize the laboratory test results...
