The Plan And Construct Of MPLS VPN

This paper introduces the plan arrangement of inter- campuses network considering the concrete situation of Shanghai University. It is the main purpose to apply the MPLS VPN to organizing the multi-service platform of Shanghai University, at the same time, to protect the present network device investment at the most degree. Using the MPLS VPN technology, every sub-service system ( such as finance, office, voice, video meeting system...) can be handled in one VPN, so that it is unnecessary to set up several network systems with saved device investment, convenient management, efficient operation.The paper simply elaborates the MPLS VPN development history, technique characteristics, key scheme, on consistence of the present IP technology development process. Specially the theoretical analysis and research is proposed in this paper on how to set up VPN on MPLS, besides, the concrete plan and realization scheme of campus network is suggested on MPLS VPN technology. Also this paper introduces the detail plan, designing , realization, maintain of MPLS VPN on the basis of the concrete situation of campus network of Shanghai University.
