| The connections of the home and Internet need a nerve center to be the family network central controller in family's information-based network technology system research and product development , or called " the home gateway ".the embedded Internet technology enable equipments access the Internet through embedded moudule rather than PC systems . Promoted by embedded Internet technology, network appliance and information appliance developed quickly, which makes the refrigerator, air-condition, television and other appliances network, construct the intelligent home in people's ideal. With regard to the hotspots of distributed intelligent network control system and digital home apparatus,mainly discuss the software and hardware design of embedded home gateway which is based on uCLinux OS including chip selection, chip characters, circus design, software flow and so on.The thesis has introduced embedded system and the definition of the embedded home gateway, development overview, etc. Then provided the hardware structure of the home gateway.Linux operating system and uClinux kernel operating mechanism are analyzed in this thesis. After analyzing Linux systematic operating principle, we have discussed the Linux equipment driver and developing several instances concretely. At the same time, uClinux operating system is transplanted on the goal board. After analyzing common protocol TCP/IP and HTTP protocols,discusses it's gateway and user interface technologies ,confirmed the B/S mode based on the requirement analysis of system.and presents a design model. |
