The Implementation Of Ispec In The Embedded Operating System

With network application spreading our life, security in transport between individual private nets becomes more and more important. Mainly there are two kinds of network security: platform security and transport security. However, there are defects of current implementing of IPSEC in performance, reliability, and security, because those implementation place IPSEC protocol outside of platform. Customizing operating system with IPSEC protocol inside is a feasible method to resolve the problem. First of all, this paper analyzes embedded operating system and IPSEC protocol; secondly plans the implementing of embedded operating system based on linux and IPSEC protocol stack model; then provides arithmetic and integrating of IPSEC protocol; and concludes by analyzing the keystones and the trends. The model using uc linux can support many kinds of processor, such as motolora ,GS, Intel ,AMD. And also it can offer high security for PDA, migratory calculator, automatic seller, honeycomb telephone, migratory communication, and so on.
