Digital Television Operation Support System

These years, Digital TV is evolving in China, this trend will certainly drive domestic entire broadcasting industry huge transformation. Along with the rapid development of radio and television industries, far-seeing operators use the experience of telecom industry's Business Operation Support System for reference, establish the Digital TV-Business Operation Support System (DTV-BOSS) which supports the entire service. DTV-BOSS is an integrated management information system, include the Operation Balance system, the Subscriber Management System, the Call-Center, the Service Maintenance System and so on. The Subscriber Management System is a management information system through which the digital TV operators face to digital TV's subscribers, implement daily business and operation management. SMS is the core unit of the DTV-BOSS, it implements the management idea, operation mode and operation strategy of digital TV. This paper completes the analysis, design and implementation of SMS.I use RUP model to organize the development activities of this system, to modeling in the system's analysis and design base on UML modeling language, to design the system's database with the E-R model, to describe the system's deployment project with the components views and deployment views.I design the system's construction based on .NET platform, and implement through C# language. Use the .aspx file to achieve the interactive information between the system's interface and the user; the specific business logic, that is, the source code is generated in .cs file; the access operation to the database is completed in .resx file. We had considered the system's reliability, flexibility, scalability, and other performance indicators when we design and realize the system, and meanwhile, we also think about the interactive information and system's maintenance etc. among broadcasting and television department of the city, the province, and the CCTV.Through practical use, this system has obtained a good effect, it is now widely used in digital TV's operation and support management in Sichuan. The user's feedback fully proved the system's advantage and rationality in actual work. This system has versatility and reference in similar work.In this paper, I refer to the relevant background and significance of this article first, and then summarize the research's status and the software development technology involved in this article. Secondly, this paper describes the process of system's analysis, design, realization and test. Finally, the paper give a programming for the problems that exist in current system.
