The Preparatory Trip Of Military Information Systems Design And Application

The general military information integration system (GMIIS) about reserved brigades is the key part of many military departments, and is important for the military routine management, war games, and military emergencies. The GMIIS involves the soldiers' and officers' archives, the arming status of reserved troops, the battle effectiveness, the national-defense potential, etc. To construct the information integration system is a complex process, which according to the battle requirement combines the computer hardware and network into the computer application system that can be provided with availability, practicality, and high cost-effectiveness ratio.Firstly, management information systems (MIS) and the SQL SERVER database are summarily introduced, and the features about the C/S mode and the B/S mode are analyzed in this thesis. Secondly, the requirement analysis method for the GMIIS is intensively discussed, and the requirement analysis of the GMIIS is implemented according to the requirement of the Leshan reserved brigade of the Sichuan province military area. Thirdly, the theory and technology of the database modeling is discussed, and the database is designed by the current popular database platform, SQL SERVER 2000. Lastly, three phases including system analysis, system design and system implementation, are narrated in detail; the object-oriented technology is applied to the integral design of the GMIIS; the system main-frame is constructed, and all operation modules of the GMIIS is implemented according to the functional requirement. Furthermore, the security of the GMIIS is discussed.
