Since twenty-first Century, China’s higher education ushered in the development ofa new wave of. Teaching scale expands day by day, the new teaching model andartificial management has lagged behind, with the development of computerinformation management, the traditional method can not meet the demand of educationdevelopment in the new situation. Therefore, various colleges and universities todevelop management information system, Xihua University School of managementinformation system is in order to facilitate the overall management of student andindependent software system.Xihua University student information management system is a comprehensivemanagement, management science, information science, system science and computertechnology and other scientific and integrated as a whole. In this paper, we apply thelatest computer software engineering and information technology, development, thedemand for information technology and education management according to thepractical, fast, accurate, safe, open, simple, easy to operate the principle. The system isbased on the campus network, adopt two layer architecture model of mixed applicationof C/S and based on B/S architecture, using UML modeling language for the descriptionof needs analysis, using the Windows XP platform, Microsoft SQLServer2005database,Eclipse as the client development tool. The system has a reasonable structure, advancedperformance, improve the application level of the whole software system.In this paper, the actual situation of Xihua University School of management, fromthe user’s point of view, the system is divided into teachers, students, administrators ofthree modules, the use of object-oriented technology, the performance of the systemcomplete, curriculum management system needs analysis, design and implementation,to solve the repair information, query results, query results. In order to meet theadministrative office automation education needs, improve work efficiency. Therefore,the system is stable, reliable, and has good maintainability.Finally, this paper summarizes the contents of the system design, pointed out theneed to continue to improve, the future development of the system, to the right directionsystem upgrade.
