The Veneer Of A New Generation Wcdma Base Station Test System Is Developed

As an important component in WCDMA communication system, NodeB base station is responsible for the main works among terminal users'communication and its performance affects the quality of communication directly. With vendors'variable requirements, the company provides all kinds of base stations in time, which increases the difficulty for fast test of single boards. To meet the demands of reliable, fast and intelligent test, the automatic test system with excellent performance is urgently needed to reduce test time and enhance test efficiency.According to WCDMA base station single boards test requirement, this thesis discusses how to develop a set of intellectualized test system.Firstly, the functions of the WCDMA base station single boards are described. The structure of the system, mainly about the development objectives and system design, is discussed after analyzing the interfaces of tested objects.Secondly, according to the domestic and foreign advanced test technology and developmental trend, the scheme of test system is proposed. The realizations of hardware functions and programmable logic for special functions are described. Thirdly, according to requirements of intelligent test, embedded software platform is structured using VxWorks run-time operation system, then the platform structure andsoftware module realization are introduced.Finally, based on the actual situation, system debugging method is introduced, including hardware debugging, software debugging and union debugging.This test system has been running successfully for more than one year, greatly enhances test efficiency, ensures reliability of test result, reduces test time, saves manpower cost and provides a good model for the following test system development.
