With the maturity of WCDMA technology, various kinds of WCDMA Node Bequipment pour in, and the competition is fiercer and fiercer. The quality of Node B willdirectly influence the signal coverage and the capacity of the cell. The statistics showthat the expenses of NodeB account for more than 85% of the whole wireless networklayout expenses and Node B usually is placed in room without anybody on duty. How toprovide the NodeB equipment with high-quality, full function, reliable performance,steady operation and low price has already been listed in top of every largemanufacturer's task.Thus, it seems particularly important to take an effectual testscheme right away for WCDMA Node B.The thesis introduces the basic theories of software testing at first. Moreover, thepcocesses and key activities of system testing have been discussed further. Secondly, themain characteristic of G-Model Node B is analyzed and its basic function is obtained.Then, the strategies adopted in G-Model Node B system testing are explained, and itstypes to test, its specific characteristics and difficulties have been analyzed, and the keytest tools are introduced. A set of feasible test strategies and schemes are proposed.Lastly Design of AMR function as a example of Node B system testing is been studiedand analyzed, and the result of test has been shown. It has the theoretical andapplication significance.
