With the deepening of reform state electric power system, the electric power enterprise's information work also further thorough and delicacies , it produces the large number of small independent operation of information systems, and thereby produce a wide range of isolated islands of information. To the enterprise management it has brought great difficulties. In order to resolve the problems.We must establish Internet/Intranet-based enterprise information portal (Enterprise Information Portal, or EIP)to integrate small independent information. This EIP enables the different application can work independently but also effective cooperation. It also can integrate eng different application systems into a complete application systems into a complete enterprise information environment, and use data warehouse technology to utilize the data of different application system effectively to the most, thus we will be able to excavate useful information to the enterprise from these data.This thesis implements systematically the EIP system necessity to electric power enterprise , and it also introduces the technical methods of construction EIP system from the following aspects: the basis of environment technologies, application development technology, safety technology and middleware technology. This thesis systematically introduces the origin, ten definitions ,the characteristic ,the function, the superiority and the development direction of EIP . It specifically analyzes the present situation of electric power enterprise information work , and the EIP system construction goal ,the significance and the construction standard which should observe in the construction process. This thesis in detailed introduces EIP systems infrastructure of ZhongShan electric power company , including portal framework portal management and gateway security mechanisms . It gives a minute description of ZhongShan electric power company EIP system functional design on the following aspects :the simple point registers, sharing data, reporting systems, office information, information dissemination, content management, systems management, full-text search and financial analysis. Finally this thesis specifically introduces users on the role of resource management process and the related codes.
