Wireless Mesh Network(WMN) is one of ten communication technologies that have the best prospects of the market as Software Wireless Technology and Optical Switching Technology. WMN has immense application to lilitary affairs, relieve the disaster, petroleum affairs and wireless seamlessly cities' construction. Ad Hoc On-demanded Vector(AODV) is one of the hot research area of routing protocol. The AODV-UU is the maturest implementation of AODV that is developed by Uppsala University.This paper focus on the implementation of routing protocol in WMNs:1. Based on the Redhat 9.0 OS and the maturest imlementation AODV-UU 0.7.2 version, obtain the new protocol AODV-UUMST, using the metric and spanning tree algorithms of AODV-ST updated on AODV-KERNEL, implement metric measure that is one of the path-finding standard. It can reduce the packet loss ratio. Using spanning tree algorithm can find the best gateway of faster rate and connect Internet with various methods. Moreover, we optimize the kernel mechanism: design a new module Nfnetlink to replace the old interactive module ip queue of kernel space and user space.2. The basic functions of the implementation was tested in the real world. Verify the function of ETX metric excellently. The nice realization and stability prove that the new implementation can improve the network QoS.3. Using Gray Theory to analysis the traffic data of the testing, we can obtain an excellent network traffic prediction model of this simple testing network.
