Management of gas piping is a basic task for assuring the safety of the gas piping and equipments. Through the inspection of gas piping, managers and onther workers can quickly hold the status of the operation and the change of the environment, and get the information about a defect in the fuel lines, bringt forth an amendment to all current hidden trouble. It will be abilitiable to put forward a proposal for the necessary mending, handle the defect and current hidden trouble immediately, and prevent a possible accident or reduce the cost of an accident. It will be able to assure the safety of gas piping and continuously conveying the gas to all the end users.In order to monitor the gas line line and the normal operation of equipments, laboures usually to have inspects on fixed time or the indefinite tense to the pipeline and the equipment and record the equipment movement condition, the movement parameter to store. Discovered the equipment flaw and endangers the safe hidden danger, proposes the concrete plan. So it is important to build a scientific and effective inspection system.GPS Smart Inspection System uses many latest scientific achievements; include Global Positioning System, SmartPhone and GPRS, that is based on concept of 'mobile information platform' and is model of advanced management. This system contains mobile phone and host computers, and through local or distant connection it can achieve interconnection and share with the current system (MIS). It can make up the loss of the traditional system to manage the object digitizedly, measurably and in time.Windows Moblie used by this system is similar with Windows Operation System, so end users will be familiar with it. At the same time it contains .Net Framework 2.0, and it supports the VC, VB and C# language, that is great for the programmer.In this thesis the request and the main technology is firstly expounded, and the design of the whole system, include three parts: client on smart phone, the communications server and the Web client. Describe their task, module design and the communications protocol between the client on smart phone and the communicationsserver. It includes the implement of the client on smart phone.
