The role of electricity in industrial production and modern life is more and more important,it has already been one of the main energy which human society relies on. We can say that the safe and stable product of the plant is an event to national wellbeing and people’s livelihood. Normal operation of the electricity equipment is an important guarantee of the plant safety in production.Electricity equipment inspection and maintenance is an important routine work in plant, which can get first-hand information of equipment running status and is able to detect defects and timely repair and maintenance. In this paper,aiming to power plant equipment inspection and maintenance work flow characteristics, i developed power plant equipment inspection maintenance management system which is based on WebService. It achieves a closed-loop management of power plant equipment inspection maintenance work and makes equipment inspection and maintenance more timely.At the same time,it gets a more comprehensive and intuitive control to equipment for running. This article discusses as follows:Firstly, the article analysises the R&D background and research status of inspection and maintenance system to determine the R&D goals of the system; Secondly, it elaborates the demand of the system from the functional requirements, non-functional requirements and design constraints; In the outline design stage,it illustrates the network architecture of system, design patterns and designs functional modules of the system and the total data stream. In the detailed design stage,it introduses the design procedure of user role permissions module, customizable work flow algorithms, inspection module on the PDA and website module. Finally, a test and a summary were made on the system.The innovative of the system is customizable business processe:The system uses a flexible design idea, the user can easily customize, modify document and other business processes. Business process Closed:to achieve effective control of the electricity production process, if there are problems, you can immediately get feedback and resolve to make work no oversight and realize process of closure. Designing of the structure of inspection system-inspection area---inspection points tertiary can improve the efficiency of inspection according to the actual inspection work, we can design the structure of inspection system-inspection area-inspection piont and thus the management of inspection points are enhanced.In the process of inspection,the user only needs to scan and locate the inspection area.Thus the Independent work of repeatedly scan positioning operations in the same area can be reduced.It also improve work efficiency.Additionally,the state of inspection task has given the defaults and options,it reduces the manual input in the implementation of the inspection tasks, greatly inmproving the efficiency of the inspection work and saving inspection time.
