Petrochemical industry is the base of industry and material life,and the pipe laying which was dotted in cities just like the blood vessel,transports energy ceaselessly for industry produce and people's daily life.So,ensureing pipe laying's safety,expedite have important significance.Management of gas pipe laying Inspection is a basic task for assuring the safety of the gas pipe and it's equipments.Traditionary pipe laying Inspection have some disadvantage as people participate in inspection tanto,information wasn't reflect in time,the efficiency of management was inefficient,and can't audiovisual.GPS-GPRS Smart Inspection System is the important part of CNPC(China National Petroleum Corporation)'s information Strategy-building.It uses many latest scientific achievements,which includes GPS,Smart Phone and GPRS(General Packet Radio Service),is an advanced management model of pipe inspection,and makes up the traditionnary inspection system's flaw.With the project's promotion and function's increase,the Communication Server performance under severe pressure and load tests.As the core of the entire project ,If the server crashes, will lead to paralysis of the entire inspection system. Therefore,in order to provide a good and stable communication services and timely data processing, communication server design is especially important. Besides the communication server's related key technology research is very versatile,it has positive significance for SNPC's informationization,the inspection project's devlopment and inspection system that uses of GPS-GPRS technologies in other industries.After analyzing the a common frame and development technologies of Communication Server, we propose a Server frame which has great efficiency and good expansibility. Moreover, combining the real requirement, the Server is implement .And the frame's rationality has be tested in test tache and system's real routine.This paper deals with Commnuication Server's development. First of all, it summarizes the current research about the technology of Server development. After researching different server frame or develope methods, Completion Port Model is primarily analyzed. Secondly, according to analyzing and comparing all kinds of Server frames, and combine with manifold Server's network building mode,Server model,Server's intercurrent technology,DataBase accessing technology and the strategy of resource distribution, a high efficiency method based on Completion Port model is promoted. Third, a Communication Server using the new method is developed. The Server adopt Completion Port deal with IO efficiently,use estate machine parsed data reliably,utilize Thread pool allotted logic parse thread rationally, encapsulate all action of database predigested the fussy access to database and adopt lookaside list technology allot or reclaim resource efficiently. Finally, it's proved to be effective that the server frame can make good performances and good expansibility.By applying in information confrontation, the"GPS-GPRS Smart Inspection System"and the Communication Server have got sufficient praise from their users.The design and practice analysis of communication system architecture and key technology has a very good reference value in research and resolution of the server design.
